A practice based research approach is encouraged as a path to critical enquiry, rigorous thinking and creative energy. The blurring of disciplinary boundaries between the fields of design and the realms of art, science and technology require a questioning of the nature, role and place of the contemporary creative practitioner. You should be prepared to take your practice to a point of creative crisis and then attempt to recover this through the establishment and adoption of a philosophical stance and approach to contemporary media practices and creative work.
Career OpportunitiesThere is a huge and exciting range of opportunities, both nationally and internationally, for ‘creative producers’ in media and both emerging and traditional technologies.
