You’ll have finished an HND or Foundation degree in Graphic Design and are now ready to push yourself for an intellectual challenge. UoH expects you to have an outstanding portfolio of work and demonstrate an enthusiasm, commitment and ability for in-depth, Honours level degree work.

The preparatory studies will identify how successfully you can handle the demands of your transition to a degree course. With studio design projects forming the major component of your studies and supported by contextual studies modules, it is anticipated that you’ll become increasingly independent in your professional development.

Career Opportunities

The diverse nature of the subject offers you the opportunity to find employment within a wide range of design consultancies and advertising agencies, both in the UK and abroad. Career opportunities are diverse including studio designer, design manager, stylist, art director, creative, product development co-ordinator, freelance designer, visual merchandiser and buyer. You can also progress onto teacher training.

  • Foundation degree in Graphic Design with distinction.
