The fashion design top-up course has been designed for HND fashion students who have studied a fashion design course and wish to further their studies at degree level. Our excellent studio spaces, well-equipped workshops and professional expertise offer an excellent opportunity to develop your design and styling abilities. Emphasis is placed upon creative and innovative solutions for a variety of design projects.

The year culminates with the production of a capsule fashion collection designed for a targeted fashion market. We place particular emphasis upon innovative and exciting design, pattern cutting and garment construction.

• HND with merits or distinction in Fashion Design or equivalent plus satisfactory interview, supported by a portfolio of work.or

The course is modular and is delivered over one academic year. The emphasis is upon a targeted fashion collection and portfolio that exemplifies innovative fashion design concepts and cutting techniques. It is supported by the production of a fashion research report and fashion collection journal.
