UK Work Placements / Internship Opportunities

Working in the industry is an important component of many of the art and design programs, and this component can be a number of hours, a semester, summer holidays or an year depending on the laws of each country and programs. Most of these components are paid and it is an opportunity for students to apply practically what they have learned in the classroom, developing the hands-on skills necessary to embark on, or continue, a successful career in the art, design, Animation and Fashion industry.

Work Placement Sandwich Year

Many of the hospitality programs offered in the UK have one year marked for work placements in the art and design sectors. The students may be placed in companies of repute to get that valuable experience which will enable them to jump start their career.

Other Internship Types

The institutions which do not offer sandwich year offer work placements between 6 weeks to 6 months depending on the programs. The students will have the opportunity to work with guidance from program advisors or independently in some of the best companies in and around UK or overseas.
